Hello fashion queens!

Se que esta semana os he tenido un poco abandonadas, pero he estado de viaje de negocios por las lluviosas y salvajes tierras escocesas así que tengo excusa esta vez :)...

Concretamente, mi dulce estancia ha sido en la decadente y a la vez sofisticada ciudad de Glasgow, tercera mas grande del Reino Unido. El objetivo de mi viaje no era el estudio de las tendencias anglosajonas pero como buena fashionista y enganchada a la moda que soy, he hecho un trabajo exhaustivo para traeros lo mas in del país de los cuadros!

Una de las cosas que mas me ha llamado la atención de Glasgow es el estilo de muchas de sus ciudadanas. Resguardada en el Starbucks café de la Byres road cerca de la Universidad pude contemplar cantidad de estilazos que se sentaban en las mesas de al lado tomando su vanilla latte bien calentito para recuperar fuerzas...Estilos rockeros, urban chic, étnicos, pero con toques que las definen de los nuestros.

Uno de los musts escoceses de este fall-winter 2013/14 son los botines planos con hebillas (múltiples en el tobillo) o con tachuelas.

I know that this week I neglected you a bit, but I was traveling for business reasons to the wild and rainy Scottish lands, so I guess this time I have a good excuse :)...

My sweet stay was in the decadent but sophisticated city of Glasgow, third biggest city in UK. The main objective of my trip was not exactly the study of the anglosaxon trendy looks but, as a good fashionist, I have done an exhaustive research work to bring you the best from the country of the tartan!

One of the things that caught my attention most in Glasgow city was the style of many of the female citizens. I was protecting myself from the rain in a starbucks in Byres road near the University and I could contemplate many different styles sitting in the near tables having their pretty hot vanilla latte to get warmer...Rock, urban chic, ethnics, all styles we recognise, but with some differences from ours.

One of this season must in Scotland for fall-winter 2013/14 are the ankle cushioned boots or with buckles (many in the ankle).

Yo no soy amante de las cosas llamativas en general y las tachuelas siempre me habian parecido algo sobrecargado que se lleva hoy pero mañana no. Pero lejos de darme esa sensacion, los botines que llevaban las chicas escocesas eran algo muy chic a la vez que combinable con cualquier modelito de nuestro armario. 

A mi personalmente me van mas las hebillas, las veo mas elegantes a la hora de vestir los botines con cualquier outfit. Los de la foto anterior, son algunos de los ejemplos que os propongo para esta temporada, para las mas y las menos atrevidas, tenéis para elegir. El modelo que mas sensacion suscita, es sin duda alguna el Suzanne de Chloe,  que la firma francesa lanzo hace tres años en negro, beige y rojo.

I am not fan of very flashy things in general and tacks always seemed to me something overloaded to be fashionable today but not tomorrow.  But far from giving me that sensation, scottis girls wearing ankle boots looked really chic and perfect to combine with any of our wardrobe favourite outfits.

Personally I prefer tacks, I think they look much moore elegant with any outfit you wear. The ones from the picture below are some examples I propose to you for this season, even if you are more or less  dare to wear them, you can choose between them. The most famous ankle boot model between celebrities is without any doubt the Suzanne from Chloe, the one the French brand launched three years ago and you can find it in black, beige and red.

Las mas divinas, como Sienna Miller los saben combinar a la perfeccion con unos jeans, blusa y torera, pero también las hay mas cool como la chica de la derecha, combinandolas con vestido, chupa de cuero y bombín! Geniales para todo!

Yo mas o menos ya lo tengo decidido y quiero mis bonites rocker para esta temporada...Y tu? Ya has elegido los tuyos?

The most divines, like Sienna Miller, combine them perfectly with jeans, blouse, and short jacket but there are other cool looks, like the girl on the right, who combines them with a dress, leather jacket, and bowler hat! They are great for everything!

I nearly made my decission and I want my rocker boots for this season...What about you? Did you already choose yours?
